After test driving what felt like 100 cars yesterday, I've figured out what I like. I really like the Toyota Camry and the Honda Civic, they're about equal for me. To me, Camry gets a better rating for roominess, but Civic gets a better rating for the virtually non-existent bad reviews and ubiquitous great ones. On that note! I found a Civic in an adorable blue color with a reasonable amount of miles for a reasonable price in Livermore! We're gonna ch-ch-ch-check it out today! Wish me LUCK!!!

HELL YESSSSSS OBAMA WON!!!!!!

Edit 9:27P - I just watched both McCain's and Obama's speeches. McCain was SO respectful and grateful, I respect him for that. Very honorable goodbye. And I cried like 4 times during Obama's speech. He's going to be an amazing president.

$475 later, and I'm STILL not finished buying textbooks. This is insane.

$120 of those books are books I can't sell back, either.

Really though.

Buh. I officially don't like this doctor. She hasn't called me back to talk to me about my blood test results. Then, everything she said sounds fishy to me. For instance. I told her all of my symptoms (sore throat, swollen neck, painful to swallow, gross white things in my throat) and she goes "So do you have a sore throat? What about your neck, is it swollen? Is it hard to swallow?" And I'm like... did I not just tell you all of this? She didn't even look in my throat, or in my ears, or ANYTHING.

And THEN when I decided to get another opinion on my periods, and how they're akhrakhdskaj painful and heavy and irregular, she said "It sounds like you have _______(some name which basically means cysts on the ovaries)_____. Let's schedule a VERY HIGHLY UP IN YOUR PERSONAL BUBBLE pelvic ultrasound!!! 8D!!!" I was just watching T.V. and they were coincidentally talking about that very disease that I can't think of... ovarian cysts, basically. And the symptoms were tag warts, facial hair, chest hair, highly fluctuating weight, and oh yeah, heavy and irregular periods. So. I don't have any of those symptoms, except the periods part.

She just seems like the kind of doctor that likes to diagnose people (without even touching them or examining them, mind you) with big fancy words that make her sound smart. She's the same doctor that misdiagnosed my mom's eye problem a while back, and told her to have the irritation LANCED. As in, CUT OUT. A chunk of her eyeball.

Twit.

Anyway, I can't decide whether or not I'm feeling better. I'm popping Advil like nobody's business, and that seems to be helping the soreness. If that stupid doctor doesn't call me by 2:00 tomorrow about my bloodwork, I'm calling her and bitching.

My polisci teacher hasn't emailed me back. I need to know what the fucking topic of my fucking paper that is due on fucking Monday is so I can fucking write it and not fail the fucking class.

I really don't want to work on my Philosophy paper that's due tomorrow. ...Really. It's only one side of one sheet of paper, double-spaced, and it will take me all of twenty minutes to finish. But it's DULL. And myspace is distracting.

I got my rough draft of my 11-page ethnography back today, and I would have gotten a C on it, had I not turned it in early. So basically, I have to add in a ton of stuff, like "participant observation"... which I have none of, for I am a bad kid. So I'm hoping for a B in that class. It's not that the material is difficult, but that she's a tough grader, and the class doesn't consist of that many points. Here's hoping.

...that's pretty much it.

I'm getting increasingly happy. :D

So let's make a list of everything I've gotten for FREE from my work in the last 2 weeks:

+ The Omen by David Seltzer (the movie's based on this book!)
+ In the Company of Liars by David Ellis (I don't know, it just looked good)
+ The Killing Club by Marcie Walsh (It also looked good. It's a murder mystery :D)
+ A hairstyle magazine
+ A passion iced tea

Wow, that's quite a load. The books and the magazine I got for free because they weren't selling and they were going to be recycled. So rather than chop them up into pieces, they gave them to me!!! Woooo!

I started The Omen last night, it's good so far. I've never seen the movie (new or old) but I want to see it if the book is any good. So far, the couple has been trying desperately to have a baby, and when they finally had one, he died the minute he came out of the womb. So without his wife's knowledge, the husband switched kids. He took a little boy (SON OF SATAN) whose mother died right after giving birth to him (I wonder why.) And that's where I stopped. Oh noez.

And the tea was very good.
